These two filming sessions involved both of us going out and documenting seperately, as we thought that maybe we would each capture something different on our journey to Southbank Skate Park, but still with the same message in mind - portraying the positivity behind the skateboarding subculture.

This was a great idea as it worked in our favour. We each managed to capture something unique, since there's always a different crowd there. For instance, when I went I captured a lot of the creativity; the graffiti on the walls and various tricks. On the other hand, Tamuka's documentation focused a lot more on the community aspect, as there were more young kids there when he went. He also managed to get one of the skateboarders to do a certain trick up close.

In effect, this allowed us to get a bigger range of shots and angles at Southbank Skate Park, which is significant  because it is the "home of skateboarding" - a key location in our short film.

Our production schedule was made using Microsoft Word; it helped us know when, where and what we were going to film so we didn't waste any time filming random things in our locations - a definite time saver!
