Reflection Process

We have now completed all tasks and thought as a team, we'd have a reflection meeting on how we've found the A2 advanced portfolio process.

We both felt that since A2 our skills and confidence with the production of the film have greatly developed since our thriller opening in AS. We have taken into account more camera shots and angles because they make a film more interesting for the audience to watch and how sound specifically within a documentary, can influence how the audience respond and feel after watching a film.

In addition. digital technology has improved since our AS 2min opening because of technological convergence, hence we were able to use a Canon DSLR and Go Pro, which played the most significant role in creating a professional, quality short film, along with helping to produce our ancillary texts.

However, research and planning into our genre's conventions through using the primary source of the internet/watching real media texts was also a huge aid when discussing on how to make sure the documentary genre was clear to the audience.

Overall, we have both thoroughly enjoyed the A2 task of creating a short film and two ancillary texts!
