Today I went to film at our third location - Southbank Skate Park, which is a popular place, known as the "home of skateboarding"! I decided to go in the afternoon and use the GoPro to capture my journey; I strapped the camera to my chest and filmed two london overground trains going on their way.

When I arrived, I took some establishing footage of Southbank (The Queen's Walk) from a high angle on the Southbank Centre's platform, in order to document the busy vibe of the area on a typical weekend. I attempted to do a slow panning shot while up there, as I wanted to capture as much of the bank as possible.
At the skate park, I documented a lot of the grafitti on the walls as this is a big part of the skate park's authenticity. The colours were very vibrant, and the statements/illustrations were very bold. Along with this, I managed to film the community of skaters doing various tricks by using long shots. (Close-ups were additionally used to capture just their feet on the skateboard, while grinding.) I noticed that other members of the public liked to watch the skaters do these types of tricks from the outside the railings; it has in some ways become a tourist attraction for the young and old generation.

While there I also observed the clothing the skaters wore: they were dressed in the typical "streetwear" style and sported some of the popular skating brands e.g. Vans and Converse Chuck Taylors.
