WE NEED MORE FOOTAGE!

Review of Footage

Our documentary short is now just over 2mins.

We have edited everything so far and think that there needs to be one last filming session in order to get our message across to the audience.

The third location we have agreed to be filming in is in Southbank, London. There is a skate park that has been there for years and is a landmark for skaters across the city. This will be a good place to document as a wide community of skateboarders go there to simply enjoy and be involved in the tight-knit subculture that has formed there. This location also looks very authentic as the graffitti on the walls reflect the skating community's positive vibe and hard work.

In addition to this, after reviewing our current edited footage, we believe we need to include more camera angles and shots, thus we are going to use a 'Go Pro' for the first time; achieve POV shot. This could be used to see a skater's POV when they are doing tricks, or simply to show our POV when capturing/documenting our journey into Central London when going to Southbank.

Other angles/shots we may experiment with:

1. extreme close-up

2. high/low angles

3. establishing shot

4. birds eye view (Go Pro)

5. Handheld

6. Zoom
